About this document
Thank you for choosing Photo Pixer. Please review this document before you create an account or continue using the product.
Photo Pixer operates the mobile application of the same name (in this document: “Photo Pixer,” “we,” or “us”). This document describes how account data, device permissions, and photographs are handled when you use the app.
Your photographs and personal details matter. We treat them as confidential, collect only what the product needs, and apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
If you do not accept this document, do not use Photo Pixer. Opening or continuing to use the app means you have read this document and accept it.
We may revise this document. Using the app after a revision means you accept the revised version.
Questions can be sent to contact.rbs.apps@gmail.com or through in-app feedback once Settings is available.

1. Account details we receive
We collect only what is required to run Photo Pixer.
1.1 Creating and signing in to an account
When you register or sign in with email, we process:
• Full name — so we can address you in the product and identify the account.
• Email address — to create the account, sign you in, and recover access.
• Password — used only to verify it is you. We do not use your password for advertising. We do not sell it. Sign-in secrets are stored in a form that is not ordinary readable text.
We do not currently sign you in with Google or Apple. If those options are added later, Photo Pixer would receive only the email and identifier those companies choose to share. We would not receive the password of that Google or Apple account.
1.2 Why we use account details
We use this information to:
• open and maintain your account;
• confirm it is you when you sign in;
• help if you cannot access the account;
• reduce abuse and unauthorized use;
• improve restoration quality and product reliability;
• send service notices you have agreed to receive, such as security or feature notices.
2. Device permissions
Depending on the tool you tap, Photo Pixer may ask the system for:
• Camera — to photograph film prints and other pictures.
• Photo library — to import pictures and to save results you choose to keep.
• Sharing sheet — only when you ask to send a picture somewhere else.
You can refuse or later revoke these permissions in system settings. Some tools will not work without them.
3. Photographs, faces, and restoration work
3.1 Faces
Photo Pixer is not a face-identification product. We do not build a biometric identity file about you.
Pictures of people (including old portraits) may contain faces. When you ask for restore, colorize, retouch, crop, or similar work, processing may look at those faces only to complete that request (for example, to repair a damaged portrait). That work is not used to recognize who you are, to advertise to you, or to sell a profile of you.
On iOS, if the operating system ever uses Face ID only to unlock the phone or a system sign-in, that stays on Apple’s side. Photo Pixer does not read Face ID templates.
3.2 What happens to a picture you scan or import
You choose the picture. We use it to carry out the action you started (scan, straighten, colorize, restore, retouch, enlarge, or save to your album).
Where a picture must leave the device for an AI feature, it is sent for that job only. We do not use your album as a public gallery.
Finished pictures are kept in the app album on your device unless you export or share them. We do not keep a permanent extra copy of every picture on our side after the job is done, except where a short technical cache is needed to finish the request.
If a vendor must hold a file briefly to run a model, it should be removed when the job ends, subject to that vendor’s own limits.
4. Information created automatically
To keep the app stable we may see technical signals that do not, by themselves, name you, such as:
• device class and operating system version;
• app version and crash or error traces;
• rough usage counts (which tools were opened).
If you subscribe later through an app store, payment card data is taken by Apple or Google. Photo Pixer does not receive your full card number.
5. Why we use that information
• to run scanning, restoration, and saving;
• to answer support requests;
• to notice breakage and improve the product;
• to detect abuse of the service.
6. Local storage on your device
The app may keep a signed-in session and your album on the device (including local storage or similar). That is so you are not asked for the password on every launch and so your scans remain on the phone. You can sign out when that control is available.
Photo Pixer does not currently run session-replay recording of your screen.
7. How long we keep data and how we protect it
Account records last while the account exists, then are deleted or de-identified after a closure request, unless a law requires a longer hold.
Pictures in process are not kept longer than needed to finish the feature you asked for.
We use encrypted transport where the app talks to a server, limit who can access systems, and avoid collecting extra fields.
8. Outside companies that help process images
Some tools (colorize, restore, retouch, 4K, smart crop) may call a third-party model, including Google’s Gemini image services.
We send only what that model needs: the picture and the instruction for that feature. We do not hand those vendors your password or treat your account email as part of the image job when it is not required.
Those vendors process data under their own terms. Where they store data, their location and period apply in addition to this document.
9. What you may not upload or generate
Do not use Photo Pixer for material that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or that you have no right to process. More detail appears in the Terms of Use. We may refuse a job or close an account that breaks those rules.
10. Controls you have over your data
You may:
• view or correct the name and email on the account;
• ask us to delete account data, subject to legal holds;
• turn off camera or library access in system settings;
• ask us to close the account.
We aim to answer verified requests within 15 business days at contact.rbs.apps@gmail.com
11. People under 16
Photo Pixer is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly keep their account data. A guardian who believes a child registered should contact us so we can remove the record.
12. Updates to this document
If we change how we collect or share personal information in a material way, we will notice you in the app before the change takes effect, where the law requires that notice or consent.
